Norgaard was fulfilling his media commitments after formally signing for the Gunners when his young son interrupted a photo session. The little boy wore an Arsenal kit as he came and hugged his father in a heart-warming moment. The Denmark international was overwhelmed with emotion as he broke down in tears.

Despite being a defensive midfielder, the 31-year-old made 10 goal contributions for the Bees in the 2024-25 campaign as he scored six goals and provided four assists across all competitions. Back-up option Norgaard is expected to be deployed as a holding midfielder in Arteta's 4-3-3 system.
